A WEEKEND GATHERING FOR WOMEN

WINTER

does not ask the earth

TO BLOOM

Neither should we.

We invite you to slow down, gather close, and remember the rhythms

that have always known how to bring you home to yourself.

NOVEMBER 13–15, 2026 · AWKN RANCH · AUSTIN, TEXAS

BEFORE THE SEASON ASKS MORE OF YOU

You know how quickly it happens

November arrives, and suddenly there is more to hold.

The gatherings. The meals. The gifts. The schedules. The traditions. The travel. The expectations. The invisible work of making the season feel meaningful for everyone you love.

And somewhere inside all of that giving, you can disappear from your own experience of the season.

Your body keeps going. Your nervous system adapts. You tell yourself you’ll rest when it’s over.

But the natural world is doing something entirely different.

THE EARTH IS PULLING INWARD

Trees release what they no longer need.
Animals descend into hibernation.
Energy returns to the roots.

Winter is not a season of constant production.

It is a season of receiving.

WHAT IF THIS YEAR FELT DIFFERENT?

What if you entered the season already full?

What if you entered this season rooted in yourself —

aware of what nourishes you, what steadies you, and when your body is asking you to slow down?

Before life becomes louder and your attention is pulled outward, what if you gave yourself a weekend to turn inward. To rest. To receive. To remember what it feels like to move from a place of fullness rather than waiting until there is nothing left.

THE INVITATION

ROOTED IN REMEMBERING

An intimate weekend retreat for women

A weekend to root back into yourself, receive what you need, and remember the wisdom your body already holds.

You’ll leave feeling more grounded, resourced, and connected to yourself, with practices you can return to when the holiday season begins asking more of you.

THE WEEKEND

A space to slow down enough to hear yourself again.

Over three days, we’ll move with the rhythm we so often deny ourselves: slowing down, turning inward, being nourished, and allowing ourselves to receive.

There will be space to gather and space to be quiet. Space to move what you’ve been carrying and space to simply rest. You’ll be invited into practices that reconnect you with your body, your nervous system, the natural world, and the wisdom already within you.

THE JOURNEY

THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND

We'll return through the body, the earth, and one another.

The Body

Come back into yourself.

Through breath, nervous-system practices, meditation, rest, and Life Force activation, we’ll practice listening to the body before it has to shout — noticing what it needs, what it’s holding, and what it’s ready to release.

The Earth

Remember your natural rhythm.

Winter reminds us that nothing in nature is always producing. Through rose, ritual, time on the land, and slowness, we’ll explore what becomes possible when we honor seasons of rooting, receiving, composting, and becoming still.

One Another

Be held in community.

We were never meant to carry everything alone. Through shared meals, honest conversation, ceremony, and intentional gathering, we’ll experience the nourishment that comes from both supporting and being supported.

THE RHYTHM OF THE WEEKEND

ARRIVE. DESCEND. RETURN

Three days intentionally shaped to follow the same rhythm the earth is entering:

inward, downward, and back to what sustains you.

FRIDAY · ARRIVE

A soft landing.

You don’t need to arrive ready for anything.

The first evening is about letting yourself land. We’ll gather over tea, settle into the space, and begin gently releasing what you’ve carried in with you.

Through cleansing ritual, Life Force activation, shared food, and connection, we begin creating the conditions for your body to understand:

You are here. You are held. You can soften.

SATURDAY · DESCEND

Follow what is asking you inward.

Saturday is where we move beneath the surface.

Through rose, breath, Life Force activation, time on the land, and space for release, you’ll be invited to meet what is present without needing to fix it, rush it, or make it anything other than what it is.

There will be space for nourishment and rest alongside the deeper work, allowing the day to unfold at a rhythm your body can actually receive.

You do not have to carry everything forward.

SUNDAY · RETURN

Carry something different home.

Sunday is about gathering what the weekend has given you and beginning the return.

Through time on the land, breath, ceremony, and intentional closing, we’ll create space to integrate what has moved, what has softened, and what you want to carry with you.

You won’t leave with another list of things to do. You’ll leave with practices you can return to when life begins asking more of you again.

Held. Seen. Rooted in remembrance.

WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE

This weekend isn't about becoming someone new.

It’s about remembering what is already there when you have enough space to hear yourself.

YOU'LL LEAVE WITH

A steadier place within yourself

Not because life will ask less of you, but because you’ll have experienced what it feels like to meet yourself before meeting everyone else’s needs.

Practices you can return to at home

Breath, grounding, nervous system regulation, and simple ways of reconnecting with yourself when you notice you’ve begun to disappear into the doing.

A deeper trust in what you already know

More connection to your body, your needs, your boundaries, and the inner wisdom that can get harder to hear when life becomes loud.

The intention isn’t for the weekend to become an escape from your life.

It’s for something from the weekend to come home with you.

FAQ's

Don't worry, we got you. Here are some answers for your questions.

Your investment includes two nights at AWKN Ranch, organic locally sourced vegetarian meals throughout the weekend, and all retreat experiences, practices, ceremonies, and materials. You’ll also have access to the land and shared spaces at the ranch throughout your stay.

A Living Light activation is a facilitated energetic practice that invites you into deep rest and receptivity. You’ll lie comfortably while music and intentional energetic facilitation support the body in releasing, receiving, and reconnecting with its own inner wisdom. There is nothing you need to achieve or perform—the invitation is simply to surrender and receive what is present for you.

Everything is an invitation, and you always have sovereignty over your participation. We do, however, encourage you to notice when the desire to step away comes from needing rest versus meeting an uncomfortable edge. Sometimes, staying present with that edge is where something meaningful opens.

We invite you to trust yourself, stay curious, and allow yourself to be supported through it.

Yes. We will establish a shared agreement of confidentiality at the beginning of our time together. What is personally shared within the circle stays within the circle. We ask every woman attending to honor the privacy and vulnerability of the women sharing this space.

Our weekend menu will feature organic, locally sourced vegetarian food designed to be nourishing and relatively easy to digest. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when registering. We’ll communicate your needs with our chef and do our best to accommodate them within reason. If we’re unable to safely accommodate a particular need, we’ll communicate that with you ahead of the retreat.

Because we make financial commitments for the venue, food, and retreat preparations well before we gather, registrations are generally non-refundable. In the event of a true family emergency that prevents you from attending, a partial refund may be available. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss your circumstances.

To preserve the intimacy of the weekend, all participants will stay onsite at AWKN Ranch. We’re intentionally creating a closed container where trust, connection, and a sense of safety can deepen over the course of our three days together. Having everyone arrive, settle in, and remain within the shared space helps us protect the energy and continuity of the experience without the disruption of people regularly coming and going.

Not at all. No previous experience is needed. Everything will be guided, so there’s nothing you need to learn, practice, or prepare beforehand. Simply come as you are, with an openness to experience something new. We’ll meet you there and guide you along the way.

We’ll send you a complete packing list and arrival information before the retreat. Comfortable clothing, layers, personal necessities, and anything that helps you feel cozy and supported will be a good place to begin.

Yes. Our payment processor offers payment plan options through Klarna. If you need a different arrangement, please reach out to us. We’re happy to have a conversation and explore what may be possible—we don’t want a little extra time to be the reason you can’t join us.
